Empowering Spanish-Speaking Students Through English and Beyond
Our ESOL (English as a Second Language) program is designed to help Spanish-speaking students develop the English language skills necessary for success in education, the workforce, and society. With a strong focus on communication and practical application, our program not only prepares students to excel in English-speaking environments but also equips them with tools for personal and professional growth.
This program aims to increase the likelihood of a successful re-entry into society after release by fostering productivity, self-sufficiency, and spiritual stability. Participants are empowered to pursue further education, such as GED preparation and vocational re-entry courses, or to transition into meaningful employment opportunities when released.
For those who may be released and deported to their home countries, the skills gained through ESOL can open doors to better job opportunities in industries like tourism, and professional office environments.
Open to anyone seeking to enhance their education and build a brighter future, our ESOL program offers a transformative opportunity to break barriers, achieve independence, and embrace a life of purpose and stability.
This foundational level focuses on building basic English communication skills, with an emphasis on oral language development. Students will learn essential vocabulary, simple phrases, and conversational skills to navigate everyday situations. Designed for beginners, this level prioritizes speaking and listening to create a strong foundation for future learning.
At ESL 1, students transition from basic communication to forming complete sentences while developing essential reading and writing skills. This level introduces grammar fundamentals, sentence structure, and beginner-level reading comprehension to help students confidently express themselves in written and spoken English.
In ESOL 2, students build upon the foundational skills learned in ESOL 1 by using complete sentences and basic grammar to engage in more practical, real-world communication. This level deepens understanding through expanded vocabulary, more complex sentence structures, and enhanced reading and writing tasks that encourage critical thinking and greater fluency in both spoken and written English.
